  1. This is similar to something I posted in r/mildlyinfuriating and was subsequently called a moron by someone who assumed I didn’t understand click baiting… r/facepalm would have been more appropriate I assume. Still, it’s mildly infuriating that the people I have to be related to, share images of Obiwan Kenobi telling me I should also “share this image of Jesus”. Ohhhh the absurdity of social network.

  2. Facebook is incredibly bad with the fake news stuff, constantly. I just wish i could flip a switch and turn off all politics on facebook and reddit and just enjoy life. There is too much passion in politics because they are our beliefs and everyone thinks they are right and the other is a nazi, we just need to take 10 steps back and run. I just want gaming news, weather, and some local nonpolitical news.

  3. According to Snopes:

    […]

“Putting aside any individual reader or commenter’s interpretation, “World Infidels United” was not an anti-Muslim page, nor was its content meant to be taken literally. Additional content on the page clarified its satirical nature:”

    […]

The meme’s maker was mocking British people who shared similar (but serious) anti-Muslim memes on Facebook, and wasn’t literally claiming that Professor Quirrell set a woman on fire for eating a bacon sandwich.”
