  1. Congratulations! Now if you’re like me, you’ll just start all over again in a couple months (or years, who knows) and play again when you’ve forgotten where some of the stars are. Then you get to enjoy it all over again!

  3. If your 120th star was the secret star for doing the quicker time on the castle slide, I feel your pain. 10 year old me had 119 stars for several months. That closed cannon outside the castle taunted me for so long!!

  4. Im currently working on Metal Gear 1 for Msx. A video game bucket list is a great thing IMHO. I started a list about 3 years ago. Its been fun going back and finally finishing some titles I thought were impossible when I was a kid. Like Wizards And Warriors and Zelda 2. Good job gettin the 120 stars.

  5. Well done man. I’ve just finished The Ocarina of Time 20years after release (was about 8 when it came out and way to hard for me then).
    Still great playing these games!

  6. This was my 120th star as well back in the day! I spend like so much time in 1997 or 1996 looking for the last star and I felt like I tried EVERYTHING. I even got 100 coins on the third Bowser stage…

Ah, the days before Internet was widespread….

  7. I miss having no responsibilities and nothing better to do than get 120 stars in Mario 64, Expert Mode in Starfox 64, all the gold medals in Rogue Squadron, 100% Ocarina of Time / beat Ocarina of Time with 3 hearts and unlock all the cheats in Goldeneye.

These days I’m happy if I finish a game at all.

  8. Why are the colors they used for “Zeit” purple, pink, yellow, pink? Why not mix it up a bit more? In English, at least there’s a green, but there’s still two pinks. Weird design choice.

  9. Found my old N64 last year while moving and tried to play some Mario. Unfortunately the console restarts randomly after a few minutes, no matter what game I tried.

Looks like I have to give Odyssey a shot, totally forgot I bought that with the Switch because BotW was so astonishing.
